UPLIFT (Universal Platform for Logistics and Integrated Freight Transport) is a joint initiative by Kale Logistics Solutions and the Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) to create a Cargo community platform that endeavours to enable the 15000+ strong Indian Freight Forwarders and Custom Housing Agents to electronically communicate within themselves and with other stakeholders like Shippers, Consignees, Airports, Seaports, Airlines, Transporters, Customs, Custodians etc.

UPLIFT provides multiple options to members for seamless EDI filing to airlines. Members can perform EDI filing with airlines by using options like establishing an interface between their in-house system with UPLIFT, using the UPLIFT portal or by simply using 'PING - UPLIFT bureau service'.

UPLIFT empowers stakeholders to comply with the e-AWB initiatives of multiple airlines without duplication of data entry. UPLIFT has helped India to achieve and retain the SIXTH position in the world in e-AWB adoption.

UPLIFT will eliminate manual operations, paperwork, and redundant data entry and offer shipment visibility across the value chain. UPLIFT will act both as a business-to-business (B2B) portal and a business-to-consumer (B2C) portal for trade community members to conduct electronic transactions.

About ACAAI

The Air Cargo Agents Association of India (ACAAI) is the only National Association representing the Air Cargo Industry in India. Formed in 1970 with only 16 members, it now has a strength of approximately 203 Active Members, 186 Associate Members, 30 Allied Members (including Airlines & GSAs) and 1 Commercial Member.

Besides safeguarding the interests of its members and promoting fellowship among them, it provides professional assistance and guidance not only to its members but also to various Central and State Government departments/authorities connected with the industry. ACAAI's membership covers IATA approved air cargo agents, India's National Airlines, Foreign Airlines and general sales agents.
